Thank you very much.

Sadly I’m not in a position to seek legal advice because I am financially destitute.

Is it not appropriate that 8 months after being arrested for a crime I deny committing, I am still waiting for a decision as to whether I’ll be charged or not?

Is it also not appropriate that after 8 months, Sussex Police retain my IT equipment, which I desperately need to make a living?

Can you please contact me on 07437579281 as a matter of urgency to tell me whether I am being charged or not.

If a suitable response is not given, I believe it would be perfectly appropriate I contact the national press with this information.

Yours sincerely,
Matthew Taylor.

Dear Mr Taylor,

Thank you for your email dated 18 April 2018 which was passed to the South East VRR and Complaints Team yesterday, 23rd April 2018.

As you are currently a defendant in on-going criminal proceedings it would not currently be appropriate for the CPS to comment on any aspect of these proceedings. I would advise you seek legal advice regarding the concerns you have raised.

At the conclusion of these proceedings, if the CPS is involved in your case, and should you wish to pursue a complaint against the CPS, you may, of course, do so and any complaint will receive such attention as is appropriate.

You mention in your email that the CPS member of staff you spoke to was rude to you. I apologise for that. Training is ongoing for members of the team that cover reception duties, and I will make sure that this is addressed by the relevant team. Should you remain dissatisfied with the response to this point, please notify us at SouthEastVRRandcomplaints@cps.gov.uk within 20 working days.

I am not able to comment about the publicity around the [redacted] article you attached, as that is beyond the remit of the CPS.

I attach a copy of the feedback and complaints guidance for your information.

Kind regards,

South East Complaints Co-ordinator

Subject: Ricky Dearman Malicious video charge reference Matthew Taylor

Dear CPS,

Please excuse me from contacting you in such a direct manner.

Unfortunately I do not have a solicitor or other legal representative to contact you on my behalf.

In October 2017 I was arrested by Sussex Police for allegedly making a malicious video about the alleged satanic cult leader Ricky Dearman.

On that day two CPU’s, my smart phone and ipad were seized and removed.

I am desperate to have these items back, because they are essential items which will allow me to gain worthwhile employment.

Can you please tell me whether you intend to prosecute me or not?

I need the above mention IT equipment back into my possession as quick as possible, so I can secure work.

You may or may not know that I am facing a court trial on the 12th July 2018 for possessing child porn, a charge I vehemently deny and which I am confident the case will be dismissed, having handed in new information to the CPS office in Hove on the 29 March 2018, (of which I hasten to add, the CPS representative was very rude to me.)

I’m also having to suffer the publicity of the [redacted] who has called me a stalker and which the Mail on Sunday have published, even though the CPS found insufficient evidence to charge me.

Please, can you tell me within 24 hours, whether you intend to prosecute me for allegedly making a malicious video about the alleged satanic cult leader, Ricky Dearman?

I am desperate and need my IT equipment returned to me at the earliest opportunity.

Yours Sincerely,

Matthew Taylor
